Welch Allyn

Welch Allyn was founded in 1915 in Auburn, New York, by the physician Dr. Francis Welch and the inventor William Noah Allyn, and moved to Skaneateles Falls, New York, in 1953. It was family-owned until Hillrom acquired it in 2015 for around US$2 billion; Baxter in turn acquired Hillrom in 2021.

Welch Allyn is best known for diagnostic instruments such as otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes and blood pressure equipment.
