Riester

Rudolf Riester GmbH was founded in 1948 in Jungingen, Germany. Its first product was a mercury blood pressure device, and its first export order came from Egypt in 1949. Stethoscopes, aneroid blood pressure devices and ENT and ophthalmic diagnostic instruments followed in the 1950s.

Riester became part of the UK group Halma plc in 2007 and today sells to more than 150 countries.
