Cardinal Detecto
Detecto is one of the oldest scale makers in the United States, founded in New York in 1900. Cardinal Scale Manufacturing was founded in 1950 in Webb City, Missouri, and acquired Detecto in 1981; the two brands now operate together as Cardinal/Detecto.
The privately held, family-owned company is based in Webb City, Missouri, and makes medical, clinical and commercial scales.
